Marcus Davis v Nate Diaz UFC 118 Preview

Nate DiazThis fight is the favourite to be fight of the night with the bookies and I think they have it right, two fighters who like to bring it when they fight, Marcus Davis is coming off a win in his last fight but lost the two previously and at 36 time is not exactly on his side, he’s a good fighter and good boxer and he will have to be at his best if he wants to get anything out of this fight. Nate Diaz is new to the welterweight division having won his 1st fight has a more serious challenge here, he’s a lanky guy who uses that in his stand up throwing lots of punches (think volume rather than power) and he has got a good ground game to go with it. I like Davis as a fighter maybe its his walk in music and fight style but do think he’s going to have to be at his very best to get anything from this as I have said he has good hands and decent wrestling but do think that Diaz is just that bit better wherever the fight ends up, I expect Diaz to get another win in this one.
